About this tool
The Security and Privacy Tools suite helps you stay safe online without needing to be a cybersecurity expert. Generate strong random passwords, test the strength of existing passwords, encrypt and decrypt text using AES encryption so you can share sensitive information securely, and generate realistic-looking fake personal data for testing apps, filling out non-essential forms, or training machine learning models without using real personal information. All operations run entirely in your browser — no data is ever sent to a server — giving you true privacy while you use privacy tools.
How to use — step by step
- 1
Open Security & Privacy Tools
Go to the Security and Privacy Tools page on Instant Tools Hub. The suite includes Password Strength Checker, AES Text Encryption, and Fake Data Generator.
- 2
Select the tool you need
Click 'Password Strength' to evaluate a password, 'Encrypt Text' to secure a message with AES-256, or 'Fake Data' to generate test identities.
- 3
Enter your data
For Password Strength: type or paste your password. For Encrypt Text: type your message and set an encryption key. For Fake Data: choose how many records to generate.
- 4
Review the result
Password Strength shows a score with detailed feedback. Encrypt Text shows the encrypted output. Fake Data generates names, emails, and phone numbers.
- 5
Copy or use the result
Copy encrypted text to share securely. Copy fake data for testing. Save your password strength report to audit weak accounts. All data stays on your device.
Common use cases
Secure password creation
Generate a different strong password for every account to prevent credential stuffing attacks.
Encrypted note sharing
Encrypt a sensitive message with AES before sending it over email or chat, then share the decryption key separately.
App testing with fake data
Use the fake data generator to fill test databases with realistic names, emails, and phone numbers without exposing real users.
Password auditing
Test your existing passwords against the strength checker to identify which accounts need a stronger password.
Frequently asked questions
How strong is the AES encryption used?
The text encryption uses AES-256, the same standard used by banks and governments for sensitive data.
Can someone decrypt my encrypted text without the key?
No. Without the correct encryption key, AES-256 encrypted text is computationally infeasible to crack.
Is the fake data suitable for production databases?
Fake data is for testing only. Do not use it in production systems where real user information is expected.
Are my passwords shown to anyone?
No. All password generation and strength checking happens locally in your browser.
