    About this tool

The Productivity Tools suite combines five everyday text utilities that save you time when working with documents and code. Save quick notes in your browser without needing a note-taking app. Compare two blocks of text side-by-side and see exactly which lines were added, removed, or changed — useful for reviewing document edits or code reviews. Count words, characters, and reading time with the advanced word counter. Convert text between UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case, and camelCase instantly. And format messy, minified JSON into clean, indented, human-readable output. All tools work offline once the page is loaded.

How to use — step by step

    1. 1

      Open Productivity Tools

Go to the Productivity Tools page on Instant Tools Hub. The suite includes Notes, Text Compare, Case Converter, and JSON Formatter.

    2. 2

      Select the tool you need

Click 'Notes' to save a quick note, 'Text Compare' to diff two documents, 'Case Converter' to change text casing, or 'JSON Formatter' to beautify JSON.

    3. 3

      Paste or type your content

For Text Compare: paste original text on the left and revised text on the right. For JSON Formatter: paste your minified JSON. For Notes: start typing — content saves automatically.

    4. 4

      See the result instantly

Text Compare highlights added (green) and removed (red) lines. JSON Formatter shows clean indented output. Case Converter changes text instantly as you select a mode.

    5. 5

      Copy or save your result

Click Copy to copy the formatted output. Notes are saved in your browser automatically. All processing is local — no data leaves your device.

    Common use cases

    Document review and editing

Paste two versions of a document into the text compare tool to instantly see every change, like a track-changes view.

    Developer workflow

Format minified API responses into readable JSON and compare config file changes before deploying.

    Content writing

Check word and character count while drafting emails, reports, or social media posts.

    Quick note taking

Jot down ideas, meeting notes, or to-do lists in the browser note pad without opening a separate app.

    Frequently asked questions

Are my saved notes stored on a server?

No. Notes are saved in your browser's local storage and are only accessible on your device.

How does the text compare tool work?

It performs a line-by-line diff of two text inputs, highlighting added lines in green and removed lines in red.

Can the JSON formatter handle very large JSON files?

Yes, for most use cases. Files with hundreds of thousands of nodes may be slow to format in older browsers.

Does case converter support non-English text?

The converter works reliably for Latin script languages. Non-Latin scripts like Hindi may not transform as expected.
