    About this tool

The free AI Content Detector tool analyses any text and estimates whether it was written by AI (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) — the probability is calculated entirely in your browser using a set of proven linguistic signals: sentence-length uniformity (AI tends to produce very even sentence lengths), vocabulary burstiness (humans write in 'bursts' of complexity while AI stays consistent), Type-Token Ratio (the ratio of unique words to total words), average sentence length, and the frequency of over-used AI phrases like 'delve into', 'it is worth noting', and 'in today's world'. Each signal is scored independently and combined into an overall AI probability score from 0% to 100%. No text is ever sent to a server — the entire analysis runs locally in your browser for complete privacy.

      Review the signal breakdown

Check individual signals: sentence uniformity, vocabulary diversity, burstiness, AI phrase count, and average sentence length to understand why the score is high or low.

    Frequently asked questions

How to check if text is AI generated free?

Paste your text into our free AI Detector. It analyses sentence uniformity, vocabulary diversity, and AI phrase patterns to give a probability score from 0–100%.

How to detect ChatGPT written content free online?

Use our AI Content Detector. Paste the text and click Analyse. The tool checks for typical ChatGPT patterns like uniform sentence length and overused phrases.

    Is this AI detector accurate?

The tool uses heuristic signals and gives a probability estimate, not a definitive verdict. It is most accurate on unedited AI-generated text. Heavily edited content may score lower.

Can this tool tell me which AI model wrote the text?

No. The detector cannot identify a specific model (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or otherwise) — it only measures patterns that tend to appear in AI-generated writing in general, such as unusually uniform sentence length and stock phrasing. Treat the score as one signal, not proof of which tool (or whether a tool) was used.

Is my text sent to a server for analysis?

No. All analysis runs locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your text never leaves your device.

What is the minimum text length for AI detection?

At least 100 characters is needed. Longer text (500+ words) gives more reliable results as there is more data to analyse.
